After losing their three-year-old daughter Christine Marie, Daniel
and Susan Tipsord, the couple desired to help others. The Tipsords
turned to The Community Foundation of Frederick County to establish

The Project Christine Fund
The Tipsords decided to name the fund they established
with the Community Foundation The Project Christine Fund. Its purpose
is to equip parents, who have lost children to illnesses or accidents,
with the tools they need to help their surviving children cope with
their loss. These tools include grief kits and workbooks. Contributions
to The Project Christine Fund are accepted at any time by the Community
Foundation and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Impacting Other Families
Through the ordeal faced by one family, mourning
the loss of a beautiful three-year-old child, countless other families
are assisted through The Project Christine Fund held by the Community
Foundation. One life and one family now touch many lives and families.
